Do you know that over the last decade, one person has died every month due to transgender-based hate or prejudice? And this trend shows no sign of abating.

Winnipeg’s 6th Annual Transgender Day of Remembrance (WTDOR) – and the 12th Annual International Transgender Day of Remembrance – will be an opportunity to raise awareness of the discrimination, prejudice, persecution, and isolation that transgendered individuals experience on a daily basis, especially in Winnipeg.

Day: November 20, 2010

Time: 5-7 p.m.
