Bristol to stage events to honour Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender residents
The important contribution that Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender residents make to Bristol’s vibrant economy and cultural scene is to be celebrated through a range of events during the third annual Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender History Month, which gets underway next week.
And with events open to all, the organisers believe the History Month will help strengthen relationships between the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transexual and develop better mutual understanding across all communities.
Events begin on Sunday 29th January with a film double bill at the Arnolfini, showing Bound (18), a lesbian film noir, and Mulholland Drive (15), by cult director David Lynch. There are two further LGBT film double bills at the Arnolfini on Sundays 4th and 11th of February.
