Warren – A Paige Avenue man is facing eight years in prison after being accused of brutally beating a transsexual woman with two other men more than a week ago.
Police originally investigated the large fight early May 7 that broke out at the corner of Elm Road and Paige Avenue N.E. as a feud over an unpaid drug debt, but Betty Chamberlin, 36, told police several times that she was attacked by three men simply because she was transsexual.
