Tickets to see Peter Kay on stage in the hit comedy musical The Producers are already being traded on the internet auction site eBay.
The box office for next year’s run at The Palace Theatre, Manchester, opened on Monday but punters eager to cash in on the Bolton comedian’s popularity have been snapping up front row seats.
They are already offering them for sale on eBay in the hope that diehard fans will pay big money for them.
The Phoenix Nights star will play the role of flamboyant drag queen Roger De Bris in the stage version of Mel Brook’s hit film, which runs for 12 weeks from February 16.
