The Big Swinging Dick in the title is actually Ricky, the bartender and put-upon owner of the establishment. He’s surrounded by an assortment of characters, including Betty, the stripper with a romantic streak, a bar-fly that never recovered from the departure of the Milwaukee Braves and that drag queen that considers the sound of a bodily function to be something musical.
