This year’s Bristol’s Pride Week is shaping up to be the biggest, most ambitious yet. Running from Saturday August 14 until Monday August 22, plans include a large free festival in Castle Park on August 21, as well as theatre, films, events and a sports day.

Saturday August 14 kicks off with fun games in the morning on Clifton Downs; rounders, sack races, egg and spoon races which anyone and everyone can join. Then at noon the football and rugby tournaments start, organised by LGBT friendly sports teams the Bristol Panthers (football) and the Bristol Bisons (rugby).
