Ottawa – Drag queen Dixie Landers’ eyes rolled back in his head before he went tumbling down a staircase “like a ping-pong ball hitting the walls” after he was punched in the head at a gay bar, an eyewitness told a jury Tuesday.
Testifying in the aggravated assault trial of Andrew Ronald Lefebvre, 28, Sean Gorval said the fall occurred just moments after Michael Marcil, who is better known as drag performer Dixie Landers, was punched in the temple on a patio outside the Centretown Pub on May 26, 2007.
