Beverly Buttercup and Lola Del Arte were surprised to find that not many other Campbelltown locals will walk in this year’s Mardi Gras parade.
But they said it possibly came down to changes made to the Mardi Gras this year.
“I was quite surprised that not many groups from western Sydney are walking this year,” Miss Buttercup said. “Mardi Gras has changed so much and the parade route’s changed this year and they’ve split the parade from the party.”
