Boston residents will be remembered Friday, Nov. 20, in Allston, as the LGBT community gathers in honor of the worldwide Transgender Day of Remembrance.

Chanelle Pickett, Debra Forte, Monique Thomas, and Rita Hester are merely four of the many Boston residents who were violently murdered because of their transgender identity. To honor their memories, vigil and community speak-out will be held at St. Luke’s and St. Margaret’s church in Allston at 7 p.m.
