There was a time West End resident Christopher Hunt was so busy that when he woke up in the morning he didn’t know whether to put on a suit for his job at the Royal Bank, or slide into a little sequined outfit to perform as a drag queen.
“Some days I had to stop and remember what the drag for the day was,” said Hunt, also known as “Symone,” who’s worked for the Royal Bank of Canada for almost 20 years. “I eventually went part-time at the bank, but after 9/11 things slowed down a bit and I decided I better work on my career and went back to full time.”
