Political parties and legislative candidates have failed to involve vulnerable groups like the poor, disabled people and transsexuals in this year’s campaign, it was claimed on Monday.
During a discussion hosted by the National Commission on Human Rights, or Komnas HAM, the chairman of the Indonesian Disabilities Association, or PPCI, Heppy Sebayang, said that during the campaign season no party had made mention of their commitment to supporting the nation’s disabled community.
