‘I used to hate the curtain speech,” Taylor Mac announced after taking over the mike at Club PuSh on Tuesday (Jan. 27). He had been sitting patiently on the side of the stage, beglittered and bemused, through a rather rambling collection of announcements delivered by four separate PuSh Festival people listing sponsors, asking for donations and making the ubiquitous cellphone switch-off plea.
