Advocates and allies for marriage equality in Idaho will rally with others around the nation at noon on Saturday on the steps of the Boise City Hall to hold President-elect Barack Obama to his word and to speak out against a political campaign that aimed at denying lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender citizens the legal right to marry. Speakers at the rally will include ACLU Executive Director Monica Hopkins, Idaho State Senator Nicole LeFavour, and the Rev. Jon K. Brown, a Methodist minister.
