The Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual Student Union will host the eighth Diva Invasion on Thursday at 8 p.m. at the The Venue. Diva Invasion is a large-scale female impersonator revue. Last year, it won the Knights of the Round Table award for Event of the Year.
The show is mainly run as a fundraiser for the GLBSU, with 15 percent of the proceeds going to high school Gay-Straight Alliance programs this year. GSA programs have been struggling lately, and GLBSU President Jessica Osborn hopes to give them a boost.
