It’s almost Halloween and time for a favorite to return to Chico Cabaret. The cult classic-turned-stage production, “The Rocky Horror Show,” is back for its sixth year running.
The show, directed by Phil Ruttenburg, opened Thursday.
The experience begins before guests walk through the doors, with a sign that reads “Enter at own risk,” and continues inside with theater personnel dressed scantily in bustiers, corsets, fishnet stockings, heeled boots and other sexy garments. In true “Rocky Horror” fashion, some audience members were also dressed up, donning masks, face paint, gothic garb and outfits that could rival the cast’s. There was even a person dressed as goth icon Ozzy Osbourne.
