Forever Warped: The Rocky Horror cult at Cedar Lee has been going strong for 20 years

What: The Cedar Lee celebrates 20 years of showing the cult film, which opened in the theater on Sept. 17, 1987. It stars Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon and a theater full of audience participants. Saturday’s showing features a costume contest and a live re-enactment of the film as it is shown. This week’s costume contest character is Dr. Frank-N-Furter. Sept. 27, Brad Major and Janet Weiss will be the contest characters.

Rated: R. Contains sexual innuendo and violence. No one under 17 admitted without accompanying parent or guardian.

When: Midnight Saturdays.

Where: Cedar Lee Theatre, 2163 Lee Road, Cleveland Heights.

Admission: $8.50, $5.75 with a costume.

Also: September anniversary screenings will be preceded by rare shorts (featuring Tim Curry and Meat Loaf) and classic trailers.
