The brand new speaker series will address workplace-related issuesthat individuals who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning face.
Individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning who are joining the workforce are sometimes faced with additional difficulties as they are planning their careers.
For the most part, university life has been a supportive environment but the workplace can be quite different in terms of the openness of and support for LGBTQ employees, said Cathy Busha, director of The University of Arizona’s Office of LGBTQ Affairs.
