Washington – When I grow up, I want to be Samantha Brown.
So over the past few years, I’ve immersed myself in journalism. And now I’m immune to the cameras. And the lights. And the boom mics.
As a journalist, I use these items regularly so when I’m out and about and not reporting, I don’t put up a big fuss when I see camera crews going about their business. Nope – you won’t see my waving my hands in front of the shot or even asking the crew what station they’re from; I just ignore them.
