Murphy agrees: Clarification is a good thing
“There has been a call for clarification on policy positions and I would like to call for some myself,” says Family Coalition Party (FCP) candidate Bill Murphy. “Mr. Tory says he will consider re-instating sex-change operations as a funded OHIP procedure.”
The Harris Progressive Conservative government delisted ‘sex reassignment surgery’ in 1988.
“But John Tory promised Xtra Magazine readers, in their September issue, that refunding is ‘something I’m willing to take under active advisement,'” says Murphy.
