Gala cabaret, showcasing local drag performers, is sold out for fifth year in a row.
If you haven’t yet bought your tickets to this year’s Glitz and Glamour, Saturday at the Clemens Center’s Mandeville Hall in Elmira, you’re out of luck.
The show sold out, for the fifth year in a row, earlier this week.
“This is the first year that we’ve had no tickets (before a show),” Roger Laughlin, owner of Queen City Productions, which has presented the drag show for the past eight years, says. “I usually have 20 to 25 tickets to put at the door and I don’t have them this year.”
Laughlin says that if the positive community response continues, he may consider adding a second night of Glitz and Glamour in the future.
