Out in the Park will take over Tacoma?s Wright Park on Saturday. It?s the festival?s 10th anniversary, and it?s expected to be the biggest yet.
At Saturday?s Out in the Park you can be a kid: There?s a children?s area with games, raffles and activities.
You can be inspired: There?s more music, art and entertainment of all kinds than any of the previous nine years.
You can be religious: The Open Arms Church choir will perform.
And, yes, you can even be straight.
Out in the Park, which will take over Wright Park on Saturday, is for families, teens, gays and allies alike to celebrate gay pride, said Stephanie Pollak, co-chairwoman for Out in Tacoma, the group organizing the festival.
