Since July last year Charles Bouguenon’s life has been blissfully hijacked by the psychotic role of Dr Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Show.
The show began its latest life at the Gateway in Durban last year and, after its season in Cape Town at the Barnyard in Willowbridge from June 3, it goes to Johannesburg where it will run till the end of the year.
For Bouguenon, who studied drama at the University of Pretoria and also holds a teacher’s diploma in Latin American and Ballroom dance, as well as a certificate in stage combat, the role is a tough one that has taken over his life.
