I. Introduction
Plaintiff, an inmate in the custody of the Federal Bureau of Prisons, asserts that Defendants have subjected her[ 1 ] to cruel and unusual punishment in violation of the Eighth Amendment to the United States Constitution by denying her appropriate medical treatment for her diagnosed condition of Gender Identity Disorder.
