On the evening of April 9 lap dances and loud music awaited the students of Wheaton College in Balfour Hood atrium. Upon arrival, those brave enough to face a rainbow-themed world were met by a mass of acrylic wigs and boys in dresses. Not to mention girls in ties.
Michelle Van Akin ’13 pointed out that the costumes many people had assembled almost seemed to mock the disintegration of gender barriers: “Some people are just dressed so stereotypically”.
