Being Transgender at UofA – Evan Moss March 11, 2015

While lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals, as well as LGBT advocacy groups, have become common on college campuses across the country, the needs of transgender individuals are still largely unmet at the UofA, a transgender student said.

DeMille, who is also an instructor in the mathematics department, began a gender transition from male to female while teaching and noticed many problems transgender individuals could face at the UofA.
