As the General Assembly’s legislative calendar winds down to its final few weeks, several high-profile pieces of legislation still on the agenda appear as though they could be passed by June 8, while others seem to have fallen by the wayside.

A bill making it illegal to discriminate against a person’s gender identity and expression in Connecticut was passed by the House of Representatives Thursday evening after a lengthy debate, according to a CTNews Junkie report.
