If you are looking for an unconventional but fun night out look no further than Jacques Cabaret, Boston’s only drag bar which is located only a few minutes from Copely Square at 79 Broadway.
While bored over winter break, my friend and I decided to trek through the freezing cold to experience what would become a great and certainly unforgettable night. Upon arriving, we were a bit put off by Jacques’ seedy façade; you never know what you might get with a drag bar. Once inside, however, we were greeted with flat screen televisions, pool tables, colored tinsel, and lots of glitter. Jacques is by no means a ritzy nightclub, but its slightly dark appearance gives the bar a feeling of intimacy.
