When Chad White gets ready for a night out, he makes sure he looks his best. This doesn?t include cologne, ties or cuff links, however. A bra, lipstick and heels are for when White goes out as his alter-ego, Lacie, a dancing star and local drag queen.
Lacie has been a part of White?s life for nine years, beginning after he first preformed in a drag show at Boneshakers.
?I thought, ?I could do this,? and I?ve been dancing ever since,? he said.
When White gets all dolled up as Lacie, he pays attention to the details, shaving his armpits and legs, plucking his eyebrows and caking on makeup. He also takes care of areas in the lower region to ensure a realistic look.
