She played Bluegrass Gossip Fiddler in church with her family. She graduated from the same high school as Bettie Paige (Yes, The Bettie Paige). A personal tragedy in her life was brought to the screen in the award winning movie “Soldier’s Girl.” So how did Calpernia Addams go from Nashville, Tennessee to becoming one of the most famous transsexuals in the world?
