During a brief hearing in Augusta Monday afternoon, the Maine Human Rights Commission accepted an investigator’s report that found reasonable grounds to believe that Camp Kieve discriminated against a transgender Pennsylvania man.
With the decision, the findings outlined in a Feb. 7 report by MHRC investigator Paul D. Pierce are referred to the Commission’s Compliance Officer who is charged with attempting to find resolution between the parties.
