There are changes in store for the city’s annual Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Parade which will take place Sunday afternoon in the North Side’s Lakeview neighborhood.
The parade attracts hundreds of thousands of people to watch and cheer on the many floats and marchers, and the paradegoers have routinely spilled into the streets, often slowing down the parade, but this year, everyone who is not a marcher, parade or city official or police officer will have to stay on the sidewalks.
