Chicago Public Schools officials will hold a community forum tonight on a proposed new school catering to gay students.
The proposed Pride Campus of Greater Lawndale Little Village School for Social Justice would be designed to offer a supportive environment for gay, bisexual and transgender students, as well as those unsure of their sexual orientation.
But the school would be open to all students, says Bill Greaves, director of the city Advisory Council on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Issues.
