Discrimination very real for transgender people

NashuaTelegraph.com – Gerri Cannon

This is a response to Mr. Jeffrey Winslow’s article concerning transgender discrimination and care (May 25: “Transgender debate not rooted in discrimination”).

In reading his response to a previous letter, I see two different discussions happening here.

One is whether or not transgenderism actually exists in our society and how to care for people that suffer from its impact on their lives.

The second is whether people that suffer from a gender disphoric condition should have equal rights with everyone else.
