Granville – A traveling exhibit that organizers say is an attempt to open a fuller examination of the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people will visit Granville this week.

?Love Makes a Family: Portraits of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender People and Their Families? is an exhibition of photos depicting families in familiar settings. The photos are accompanied by text from in-depth interviews conducted with each family member.

?When people know (people of diverse sexual orientations), then discrimination against them lessens and prejudice drops down,? Denison University education professor Karen Graves said. ?The exhibition is part of a broader education effort to understand the issues facing them.?
