This began with a Register Facebook post about New Haven’s plan to extend metered parking to midnight, but took a turn to something else that affects Connecticut in general and me personally.
I hung out in New Haven for more than 20 years, was the Register’s entertainment editor/music writer for 11-plus years, still have many friends there and spend much time there when I’m home. And, as someone who saw the city’s aggressive stance toward parking revenue at Christmas, I made a comment.
