Sydney is set to get a dose of high-camp antics and high hairdos at the inaugural Wig Out.
“It’s about taking on different personas and being silly – it’s a crazy dress-up.”
So says producer and performer extraordinaire Laurence Stark of Wig Out, on Easter Sunday. The brand new party takes place at the Beresford Hotel.
“It’s just about having a really fun, silly day with no attitude. I think the gay scene has lost a lot of that in the last few years. People are so lost on their phones and laptops, looking for the next best thing. But there’s actually brilliant events happening on our doorstep.”
