Socrates, a transvestite and English teacher Kindel Launer have one thing in common: Palo Alto High School junior Avi Arfin.
In Launer’s Humanities H class, students must turn in a semester-long creative project, which ultimately must answer one of the six questions of Socrates, who challenged the definitions of goodness, virtue, moderation, justice, courage and piety.
