A trailer for Kerry Washington’s upcoming movie, Life is Hot in Cracktown, has just been released.
The movie looks at how cocaine has infiltrated urban America and the heavy toll it’s taken on all of its victims – whether they’re users or not.
Kerry has never been one to shy away from grittier roles and that went double for this movie. She’s playing a pre-op transsexual prostitute named Marybeth who lives her burglar boyfriend Benny (played by Desmond Harrington)
