Nathan Lane has starred in very few turkeys in his 25-year stage career, and he’s got only the highest hopes for David Mamet’s new Broadway play November — even if it involves a turkey. Lane has played all sorts of people in his career — sportswriters, college professors, Broadway producers, even crossdressing actors — but this go-round, he will play up-for-reelection U.S. President Charles Smith, marking the first time he’s portraying the Commander in Chief.
