My wait for operation goes on
A pre-op transsexual has spoken out about her frustration over constant delays to her gender reassignment surgery.
Penny Blake, from Lower Clarence Road, Norwich, has been fighting for nearly three years to have the operation that will finally make her a biological woman.
After agreeing to all the stages demanded by the Norfolk Primary Care Trust, she is angry and frustrated that funding has still not been set for the operation – and she has been forced to carry on waiting.
