UIC Pride is a LGBTQQA-focused [Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Ally] group on campus that is in its first semester back from being an unofficial group. However, they are not letting a time crunch get in the way of their involvement on campus. Pride works towards keeping its members posted about events, and collaborates with other organizations like MASV [Men Against Sexual Violence]. The larger idea of Pride is focusing on LGBT, but also promoting an awareness of self, no matter what your sexual orientation.
