The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Resource Center presents “Queer Revolution: Rise Up & Resist!”
Lions and tigers and bears don’t hold a candle to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer and straight students during Pride Week 2007.
In an effort to promote awareness about intersecting identities of students on campus, the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Resource Center has teamed up with a diverse range of campus organizations to coordinate “Queer Revolution: Rise Up and Resist!”
“The goal of this year’s theme is to challenge participants to think critically about how homophobia, heterosexism, transphobia and biphobia negatively impact our communities,” said senior Amanda Botsford, a Pride Week coordinator from the LGBTRC.
