Gloria, stage name Idonia Guppanas, walked away with the Miss Queen of Queen’s 2008 Pageant title from among nine other contestants on October 11, at St John’s Hall in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad.
You won’t see it splashed across local headlines and there certainly wasn’t any welcoming party at the airport when “she” returned home, but this drag queen says “she” created history for Barbados.
