Sarasota – The city may consider changing its noise ordinance after three people complained about “Drag Queen Bingo,” a twice-monthly event that draws raucous crowds to a restaurant in Towles Court.
Adam Saah, who lives across from Canvas Cafe, told commissioners that the event continues to be a high-decibel disruption.
“I would like to play a recording,” Saah told commissioners Monday night. “But the FCC regulates that kind of language, and you guys would get fined.”
