A Transsexual who used to be a close girl pal of Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe has landed a job at Carstairs state mental hospital.
Matthew Jackson, 47, was once a typist named Marie Dewson.
And during his previous life, he exchanged hundreds of letters with Sutcliffe, who murdered 13 women between 1975 and 1980.
In 1990, Marie described the killer as “the only man in my life”.
Last month, Matthew was hired to deal with outside contractors at Carstairs, home to many of Scotland’s most dangerous mental patients, and to supervise the workers while they were inside the Lanarkshire hospital.
