The Center Long Beach is honoring two individuals for helping strengthen the foundation of an organization that provides a variety of services to about 21,000 people each year.
Patty Moore and Signal Hill Mayor Michael Noll will receive recognition during the third annual Icon Awards ceremony at the Center next week. Their efforts, Executive Director Kimberlee Woods said, have helped support the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning community while fighting against the spread of HIV and AIDS.
