TEEI Job Seekers

Dear TEEI Job Seekers,

We have some exciting news to share with you about recent staffing changes in TEEI, and a new job opening with TEEI!

Natalie Stern has recently been promoted to Community Programs Manager at JVS. She will still be working with TEEI at a management level, as well as supervising some other programs at JVS. Davey Shlasko has been promoted to TEEI Program Coordinator (Natalie’s former position). Clair Farley continues her invaluable work with Mentorship and outreach for TEEI as the Transgender Economic Development Coordinator at the SF LGBT Community Center.

If you have been working with Natalie or Davey as your employment specialist, don’t worry! You still are. We will continue to work with everyone who’s involved with 1-on-1 job search support through TEEI. After a new Employment Specialist is hired, some of you may work with that person instead. Whether or not you switch employment specialists will depend on the new person’s particular areas of expertise, your job goal, and your preference. We will stay in touch with each of you about this as the new person is brought on board. For now, nothing will change in terms of how TEEI supports you in your job search, except that you may have to schedule appointments a little farther in advance.

Because of these staffing changes, we are now recruiting for a new Employment Specialist! The complete job posting is copied below. Please help us recruit a strong and diverse pool of applicants for this position by forwarding it to any people you know or lists you are on where it may be of interest.

If you have any questions about this position, or about the staffing changes, you are welcome to contact Davey directly. To apply for the position, send application materials to recruit@jvs.org.
