A proclamation is on the agenda for Thursday, July 30th at the Multnomah County Commisioners Office for an approval designating August 1st – August 7th as Transgender Americans Week in Multnomah County.
The proclamation, as filed on the county’s agenda placement request form, stipulates that “This proclamation recognizes that transgender, gender queer and gender nonconforming people of all walks of life significantly contribute to the welfare and livability of all our communities.”
