Greensboro, NC – The UNCG Speech and Hearing Clinics will host the Transgender Communication and Wellness Conference, an event for healthcare professionals and transgender individuals, 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, May 22, in Elliott University Center.
The keynote speakers will be Dr. Richard Adler, co-editor of “Voice and Communication Therapy for the Transgender/Transsexual Client: A Comprehensive Clinical Guide” (2006), and Mara Keisling, executive director of the National Center for Transgender Equality.
