DIVAfest got off the ground last year as a project to spotlight creative Indiana women in the theater, bringing about 700 patrons to the Indianapolis Theatre Fringe Festival headquarters on St. Clair Street for a weekend of short plays.

In its sophomore outing, this IndyFringe spinoff has expanded to a couple of weekends. It started last month with works by women from San Francisco, New York and Toronto, and it continues this weekend with works by Indiana-based women.
